Insurgents of Boko Haram assault a Yobe village, destroying a school and a health center.

Katarko, a village 18 kilometers south of Damaturu, the state capital, has been attacked ten times. Residents claim that insurgents entered the neighborhood at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, while they were on their way to the mosque for prayers, and began firing sporadically in the air.

According to reports, the insurgents went straight to the military formation in Katarko, where they shot sporadically and then set the base on fire.
