The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said that it can't find the whereabouts of the previous National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Director General Ayodele Oke and his better half Folashade Oke.
The EFCC said this while talking under the steady gaze of the Federal High Court on Wednesday, Punch reports.
The counter join organization had in January documented
extortion charges against Oke and his significant other regarding the aggregates of $43,449,947, £27,800 and ₦23,218,000.
Punch reports that the indicting counsel for the EFCC, Rotimi Oyedepo, told Justice C.J. Aneke of the High Court that they've been not able serve the charge sheet on the Okes.
He said the agents of the commission visited the known location of the respondents yet they were mysteriously absent.
It had recently been accounted for that the previous NIA DG had left Nigeria in front of his preliminary.
